Our Immigration Practice Group is skilled in assisting foreigners from different countries such as: Korea, Japan, India, Taiwan, Germany, France, Italy, USA and Canadian entering Mexico in order to perform business related activities in the industrial, commercial or financial sectors.
We are experts offering the following services in this area:
Processing, obtaining and cancelling of FMM visas that allow a foreigner to enter Mexico for a period of up to One Hundred Eighty (180) days in order to carry out business meetings, explore a business venture possibility in the industrial, commercial or financial sectors in Mexico, etc.
If the foreigner’s stay in Mexico will be for a longer period than 180 days and/or will carry out a managerial/administration or technical position for a Mexican company then the FMM may be granted for a 30 day period and within that timeframe the change from an FMM to an Non Immigrant Card (which substitutes the FM3) must be processed. The applicant must inform to the Mexican immigration authorities the purpose of his/her stay in Mexico when applying for the FMM in order for the Mexican National Institute of Immigration to issue the FMM for the correct period of time; that is the foreigner must state that the FMM is requested in order to apply afterwards for an Non Immigrant Card within the prescribed term of no more than 30 days.
Processing, obtaining and cancelling of Non Immigrant Card (Formerly known as FM3 visas that allow foreigners to render services in Mexico for a period of one year.
